That's why AnkiApp uses an improved form of Spaced Repetition (SRS), built with Artificial Intelligence (AI), to maximize the amount of learning you get done in each study session. When you go to study, the AI chooses which flashcards you need to work on, based on a detailed analysis of your progress. It's like a coach, for your brain.

Make your own flashcards, styled how you like. AnkiApp lets you use colors, bulleted lists, and more. Or search through millions of flashcards that are ready for you to download. Your choice.

You get all this power, wrapped in a simple, polished app.

SIMPLE
• Easy to add cards directly from the mobile app
• Format your cards using colored text, bulleted lists, underlines, and more, all without knowing CSS
• Flip your decks to study back-to-front, with a couple taps
• Syncs automatically with desktop, web app, and your other phones and tablets
• Create decks on the go
• Make cards using photos from your camera

Not well optimized for smaller screen devices
moehammouri

I have the SE and the experience isn’t good seeing how menus are just “shrunken” in size, that lead to a much smaller font, also it isn’t well polished. Buggy and laggy. I think It’s time to pay the 25 bucks for the original anki.

Fantastic app, but needs better notifications
EmmyATemmy

This app is very easy to use as a study tool. I use it to study foreign language vocab and I can honestly say it’s helped me get out of a no-study slump. However, I think the notification system is weak. Users are always notified 24 hours after they last studied. Because I don’t immediately tap these notifications when they come up, I get notified later and later in the day with each passing day. When the notification pops up at night I often forget about it completely and go several days without studying. I think this app is awesome, I just really wish the notifications settings were customizable.

Confusion with Anki
ncam7

The app itself is great, being able to have multiple decks, uploading images, and reviewing them. I had read about Anki before and believed I was buying the version that creates customizable decks. I didn’t realize until after the $25 purchase that Ankiapp is extremely different than Ankimobile. There is essentially no point in buying the version of the Ankiapp because there are no new features like reviewing multiple decks at once or anything worthwhile to upgrade. Very upset about wasting the money and will not be using this product.

Fake News
TheSweetestNectar

This app is not connected to other Anki platforms. It seems to have just used the name for brand recognition so you will be unable to sync this app with your laptop

Love the app, use native controls and fix syncing
Eric Higashino

Love the app, fix the syncing randomness and consider using a native iOS and iPados controls. The back and forward navigation is not intuitive and the targets for hitting back and forward are too big and I was hitting the back button on macOS when I was trying to move the window. Native controls please instead of wonky cross platform controls.

It would be impossible for me to learn without Anki Cards

Great, but would like a couple changes

This app is really great! I’m currently using it to get my insurance license. However, I would like there to be an option in the settings that allows you to choose to review in the same order you added the cards, or to shuffle the cards. For me personally, a lot of the terms and information in the insurance study material builds off off each other. So I can’t really move on to another term without first knowing the initial terms. The majority of the terms are all co-dependant, so to say. So having the option to first review in the sequence I entered the cards would really be a great help to start. I would also like the option to choose which cards to review. I love the feature that allows you to focus more on the cards you know the least. However, with so much material to learn, I break up the amount of information I enter into Anki on different days. So i’ll enter the first half of one chapter one day, and then the next the second day. So if I’ve already reviewed the first half of the chapter that i entered on the first day, i want to have the option to solely review the new cards i entered the next day. This would be a great help, as opposed to me making a new deck for each section of each chapter. This would help me to use my time more efficiently instead of wasting it on reviewing cards that i already know. Thank you so much!
