Everything about Amex is luxurious until you get to the app. I literally cannot tell how much is charged on my card without manually adding up items or going to “pay my bill” every time I want to know the charge total. The total amount for every other credit card I have is listed directly at the top. I do not care about my “Previous Activity”, I want to know my exact current spend amount. Please fix this issue in the next update. Honestly contemplating leaving Amex because of this triggering issue and it’s such an easy UX fix.
If you want a credit card company that always goes the extra mile in terms of looking out for your interests, being the “heavy hand” in protecting you from unreasonable vendors, then the AMEX card is the card for you. I can’t think of one time in excess of twenty years that American Express was not ready and willing to look out for our best interests.. We use AMEX exclusively.
Need a better alerts system that can also cover the spouse’s card. Need better search and sort functions, e.g, sort payment in alphabetical order. Need a prefilled option to pay the last statement balance (exists on Delta platinum but not MS platinum). Spouse needs easier access to amex app
I was waiting for a representative for over 20 minutes on hold. That’s unacceptable
Everything about this app is perfect. My favorite feature is payments. If you make a payment, it will be deducted from your bank account in minutes. I like that!
