I love both my Amber and recently found this companion app. The Amber and app are a great addition for me and my watch when I travel. The app is really pretty slick. You can monitor your Amber and your watch from your phone. It tells you battery status, charging temp, and you can get notifications on each device during their charging cycles. You can also get Amber to beep using the app to help locate if you move it from room to room, put in a bag, briefcase or carry on (like I do). Both are highly recommended.

Great charging station...questionable app updates?

I love my Amber charging station! Does exactly what it's meant to do and works nicely. The only reason why I am rating this 4/5 stars is because in order to save battery power on my phone, I force close all my apps. When the Amber app is completely closed, you will not get any notifications. The Bluetooth is disconnected at that time. Can there be an app update to keep the Bluetooth connection on as long as the device is in range just like the Apple Watch itself or will that drain the charging station faster? I don't have the charging station plugged in all the time, will it decrease the life of the device to have it always plugged in?

This is another stupid product that this company pre-sale more than a year ago on Kickstarter but it delayed months until user can get their watch... I warn everyone should stay away from this.

I just received my Amber case/charger and the product is top notch. I completely forgot there was an app for it until I read the instructions (yeah, I'm THAT guy). I downloaded the app, it walked me through the pairing process, let me pick what notifications to receive and it was done. It's a simple, clean app that does exactly what it should, with a couple of bells and whistles thrown in. Quite simply, it works the way it's supposed to, and it does it well. Great product, great app.
