Too many notifications

It was a fine app until earlier this week when it started sending five, six, seven advertisements per day as "notifications". My watch would buzz and my phone would buzz and I'd discover Amazon telling me that I could win a free something. This would happen several times per day. What an abuse of the notification system. So I removed the app.

It is getting really annoying to see countless pop ups of today's deals! Also, I never get notifications of when my item(s) are shipped and/or delivered anymore. What's up with that?!
Bugs with the new iOS

Ever since the new iOS I can “sign in”. What I mean by that is it shows my photo at the top when I’m browsing but if I was to go purchase something is makes me put my password or fingerprint, then gives me “oops something went wrong”. So annoying. Let me know when it’s fixed, until then I’ll be using the website on safari I suppose.

I’m still unable to purchase anything from this app. Who knew that Amazon could be this stupid. DELETED (after I post this).
Using airplay to play advertisements, really!?

Amazon is great, the app is really useful too, but you get a one star until you make sure no advertisements take over REAL media playback via airplay. There’s not a single person in the world that wants to have their big screen spammed with ads while doing shopping on their phone as they watch or listen to other media. Fix it.

That's pretty much the department I spend most of my time on and now Amazon just repeatedly suggests random things to me; please bring it back. :-)
New Version is a step back

Please return to the older version. Why is the article page now 1/3 covered by the list on the left and why does the list reload (not remembering where I was) when I return from the full article page to the list view? Not helpful.

Quick delivery, quick returns, discount student prime account. Prime video, come on I'm addicted and have to take leaves of absences from amazon because there is always something I need.

It was good until I updated it. Now it's stuck on the installation process. I've tried to delete it but it won't delete either.
