For the most part, I’m having a lot of fun with this app. The gameplay feels very authentic from the original titles. My issue is that the game constantly asks to login to Facebook when you should already be logged in. There should, also, be an option to either opt out or skip certain missions in order to receive rubies.

I want the real katamari damaci! Boo! Booo to the king of the cosmos for making this pathetic version of the greatest game of all time and space! Seriously, we had the real game on Android and iPhone 10 years ago, surely we can have it back, no?!

I want the old katamari back!!! This game is ok but it’s not the ORIGINAL that was available a few years back. ? where did that one go? I’ll pay money for the old one this one is just so similar to tomb runner and such.

I loved the original Katamari so much so I was elated when I heard about this but it costs almost all of your rubies immediately to continue. At first it’s fair 1 or 4 to continue but then quickly 34. I should have to spend more than a few dollars the first night.

This app serves as a good time waster and mobile app, but it’s not Katamari Damacy. Takahashi said he didn’t want goals and power ups in his game while this game make that the whole point. It could have simply used touch controls to make it resemble the original Katamari.

Great game but....

For some reason there’s a glitch or a bug or something where the camera view goes into the Katamari and for some reason whenever I click on the watch video button to revive myself the game just ends. It is a great game either way though just with these few bugs that need to be fixed.
A small taste of the Katamari greatness

First some positives: -super nostalgic -simple controls -cool stuff to pick up -cousins are cool to pick up -OG music with new flair Cons: -Sometimes you have to watch an ad and you still can’t continue on. It’s feels like you get cheated out of a run 50% of the time -Currency to continue runs is hard to come by and if you don’t pay to play you can really only run 1x per day and after that you play until you mess up -Only one course I LOVED original Katamari Damacy and really want a reboot and I was hoping mobile would cash out on the following but it’s really a half-assed attempt that is eager to take your money. :(

This game is a lot less fun to play, because the game currency is very slow to replace, is expensive to purchase, and watching ads to bypass spending currency will fail to work correctly about 75% of the time. Why watch an ad if it doesn't let you continue? Ads are very intrusive, showing up at all times before and after game play. It's a shame, because the graphics are pretty decent and the game is fun. The publishers are greedy though, and have put out a bug-filled product. ?
