Great Game with a real bad bug

So I was having a great time playing this game, but I accidentally closed out the app while closing out other background apps. When I tried to start up the game again and load my file, I was shown a black screen. The only thing that was showing on the screen was the directional buttons and the action buttons, other than that the screen was totally black rendering the game unplayable. Hopefully soon the developers send out an update because it's a shame that such a good game has to suffer because of one really bad bug. Until the update comes out DO NOT waste your money on this game.

... it really feels like it'd be way easier to play on a PSVita or 3DS as opposed to a phone or tablet (though there is a PC version). The controls are kinda wonky, tending to overlap text if you put the controls in the "usual position" of the bottom left and right but you can't move them to the black bars outside the game area, which would help it control better and not dig into the area between my thumb and pointer finger. The game is certainly worth trying if you like story-driven games as there's a large amount of branches, characters and endings. While I liked my one playthrough, it wasn't easy enough control-wise that I'm unsure if I'll play this particular version again. There's always the PC version and Devolver Digital tends to make quite a few ports of the games they publish so I wouldn't be too shocked if it got a handheld or console release at some point.

I know that to get the "happy" ending to the game I have to buy some special pills from the pawn shop. I'm supposed to be able to ask him if he has anything "else" to sell, but it won't let me. Overall the interface is very clunky, the game will not let you take any actions without using a directional finder, and it does not even have very simple options like turning the sound off. Please fix.

I've been waiting for this game to come to IOS for a long time!

The writing in this game is very well done and the ability to perform actions that shape the world around you provides a feeling of investment and immersion that's absent in linear games. The moral and ethical choices posed to the player makes the gameplay feel unique to your experience and shapes your outlook of the in-game world. I completed this game recently and I had a blast, I'll be recommending it to my friends and I hope that this game will see enough success to warrant either a sequel or an additional game that follows in the same vein as this one. Keep up the good work!

I love this game so much. I was so into the story when my iPad died. I turned it back on and now all I get is a black screen with the controls! The game is totally unplayable now. Please fix! I was pretty far in too

How to Get the Happy Ending

Now it's simple to get the happy ending. Before arriving to Sam Verdano please advice that'll you'll need to have a minimum of around 15000 dollars. I'll tell you why soon. When you meet Casey John first time he will ask you a question. Here is what you'll have to answer: 1) When he asks you who broke up with you, state that YOU were the one that broke it off 2) Hen he asks why, state that YOU FELT UNWORTHY. Soon you will meet Sam and he will invite you to his bachelors party. Say that you will go! If you don't you will not obtain a happy ending, note if you wish to get your love back Sam MUST NOT DIE. When choosing a suit choose the grey one for him* Dress if Sam is a woman. When you back to your room and you see Casey reading your diary. He will you these questions, answer them exactly this way to achieve the happy ending. 1) He will say what are your reasons for being at the wedding. State that you are here to get him/her back 2) Casey will also precede to read bad deeds you achieved in getting to the wedding. State that you feel bad for every single one of them. In regards to what he'll state depends on actions you acted out throughout the game. Regret all those mistakes* 3) Casey will then precede to state if you are worthy for your love, precede to say I am worthy! Now when you go to the bachelors party Sam will be in a predicament in where you'll 10,000 dollars and that's where that minimum of 15,000 comes in. 5,000 will be used for a suit, get a black one or dress if female. Now you get the options of handing your journal over to save him but in doing so you won't get your love and Sam will be rich. If you keep it Sam will die and you won't get the happy ending if Sam dies! What you need is to pay his debt of 10,000 dollars. Now at the wedding you must object. Which is very obvious. Then proceed to state that you love and can not live without your love that is getting married. Their is a option that's states don't do this. I advice never to press that in when it arises. After that Sam is the hobo in the beginning and you are rich and get the girl/guy!

The game is great, but...

There is a few annoying bugs, and the app crashes a lot, but autosave can handle that. After I finished all quests in Beaton and got the money for the bus ticket, the game crashes everytime I try to enter in the bus station, I can't do any progress :/

This is a 5 star game with a bug that is quite impossible to overlook. I loved everything about this game and have saved and reloaded my progress several times without an issue, until now. Now when the game loads it is just a black screen with the controls still there. They do work and I was able to start a text action and the dialogue box showed up but that's all. If it makes a difference it was the part where I had to write copy for an ad for Island Buzz soda. I had saved and quit in the middle of this task the last time I played and when I came back it was screwed up. Please fix this and I'll increase my rating to 5*'s

I love this game the fact that's it's sad because your girlfriend left you( in my cass of the game) but at the end you get Rich and become happy
