Cool game but WAIT I can't play it

Meep..

This game was really something. You wouldn't just find this kind of experience on the AppStore unless you came to this game and said "Well that sounds cool for two bucks." Once I start playing this game, I get into it, yet the only thing that's made me stop was the unexpected bugs and crashes. I was in the middle of a job and just like that, I was back to the home screen. I'm very greatful that this game had auto save, because I would have lost a ton of progress during jobs and such. Now its come to this, the disability to load back to my file. I hit load, then the controls vanish and I am left waiting for the file to load. Sadly, this didn't happen, so I restarted my iPad mini and tried again. Still, this didn't work, so I am forced to wait until the next update for this dilemma to be fixed along with the other unsuspected bugs and crashes. I hope the update comes soon. If the developers fix these issues then the game will be much better and people will be able to play it without knowledge that another glitch could pop up. The reviews will definitely get higher.

Black Screen Error

Aleksey_Blake

Had to uninstall because of a black screen coming up. Buttons were active but no image. Lost everything. Don't really wanna play until that gets fixed because starting over sucked.

Nifty idea but...

Naterkix

... it really feels like it'd be way easier to play on a PSVita or 3DS as opposed to a phone or tablet (though there is a PC version). The controls are kinda wonky, tending to overlap text if you put the controls in the "usual position" of the bottom left and right but you can't move them to the black bars outside the game area, which would help it control better and not dig into the area between my thumb and pointer finger. The game is certainly worth trying if you like story-driven games as there's a large amount of branches, characters and endings. While I liked my one playthrough, it wasn't easy enough control-wise that I'm unsure if I'll play this particular version again. There's always the PC version and Devolver Digital tends to make quite a few ports of the games they publish so I wouldn't be too shocked if it got a handheld or console release at some point.

Great Definetly should buy.

B.W. Samurai

For an iPhone RPG. This game IS GREAT! Actual choices with actual affects on ur story. Honestly it's worth the price great game. Imagine a calmer version of GTA in the sex, drugs and mischief ways. Overall 5/5 I have had 0 problems launching game on iPhone 5 not bad graphics

Nice iPhone port

Mechtrooper

The game ran well with a few bugs on the iPhone5. Audio would sometimes stop until you enter a new area, but I am satisfied with what I have played so far. It's definitely worth buying. Hopefully they come out with an update in the future.

Some kinks to work out

ProdigalBastard

Overall the game is great but I keep running into issues. Whenever I try to load my game save that was saved in the Phoenix Room club, the screen is black but the music is playing and the UI is visible. Also the controls are a little touchy and sometimes I select a dialog option on accident due to the speed of the text.

Good game but crashes

Hipsta_cat

Honestly, really amazing game, but it always crashes, everytime My phone dies or when I go out of the game and come back in, its always a black screen, theres controls but its just a black screen and everytime I have to restart the game, please fix this, this game would be the bomb if you fix this!:)

Bit Unstable but Ok

Swagger 11

I enjoy the game's story after watching a let's play done by Cryotic on YouTube and thought to myself this would be a nice game to experiment on for a while. However, the game does have some glaring bugs and glitches like how it won't show how much stamina you regain from consuming food or that certain sections in the game like setting up equipment in Club Phoenix would have a chance to crash the game after setting down X item on Y spot. The game is fun to play but it will drain your battery and may crash from time to time.
