Attractive concept, POOR execution

First of all, great attempt to build an RPG game that centers on the concept of ethical narratives... However, it is rather disappointing that the execution of the game is amateurish at best: If the game wants to emphasize the depressive and sometimes oppressive surrounding that the protagonist has to endure—why does it haphazardly? For example, how is it that the character can sleep in public yet does not risk being robbed? When publishing dirt on big corporate company, how is there zero backlash against the protagonist? Secondly, there can be many more interactions with the objects instead of only discovering action figures within them, which, I have no idea what they are used for besides being pawned for very little money. Thirdly, the game crashes a lot, why spend so much time putting the creators of the app in a game instead of actually dedicating the time and energy into creating a more stable app? This game did teach me one thing, though.. that maybe when my professor told me that my paper “has great concepts, but executed poorly”, they meant the experience like playing this game.

I’m honestly shocked that this game doesn’t have more reviews. It’s amazing; I’ve played it four times now and it’s fun every time the story is so great!!! I love it so much. My only complaint is that I can’t play their new game (always sometimes monsters) on my MacBook :((

ASM is one hell of an addictive game, for starters the game throws a gun in your face & forces you to make a choice right then and there if that’s not enough to say go buy this game right now then go f yourself. But All Jokes aside Always Sometimes Monsters is a mature rated role playing adventure game about life & the choices we make that change the world around us, that being said the gameplay plays exactly like this, you go through the game chasing your ex gf who’s about to get married, grinding for cash, sleeping on the streets, playing arcade games and meeting multiple people who either want your help or are just looking for a friend to talk to. There are many ways this game can play out leading you to a variety of endings that will have you playing this game for months. Always Sometimes Monsters has its ups and downs and when it comes to the plot you can expect some wild laughs or emotional situations that will get you attached & leaving you wanting to know more about these characters & there stories. The graphics in Always Sometimes Monsters were very retro like and gave me an awesome nostalgic Super Nintendo feel leaving me want to explore every little crevice there was to offer. The music and sound effects were absolutely amazing and extremely catchy I couldn’t get enough of the soundtrack. This game was an incredible experience and I really enjoyed playing this one guys on that note I give Always Sometimes Monsters A 5 Out Of 5.

Cool game but WAIT I can't play it

This game was really something. You wouldn't just find this kind of experience on the AppStore unless you came to this game and said "Well that sounds cool for two bucks." Once I start playing this game, I get into it, yet the only thing that's made me stop was the unexpected bugs and crashes. I was in the middle of a job and just like that, I was back to the home screen. I'm very greatful that this game had auto save, because I would have lost a ton of progress during jobs and such. Now its come to this, the disability to load back to my file. I hit load, then the controls vanish and I am left waiting for the file to load. Sadly, this didn't happen, so I restarted my iPad mini and tried again. Still, this didn't work, so I am forced to wait until the next update for this dilemma to be fixed along with the other unsuspected bugs and crashes. I hope the update comes soon. If the developers fix these issues then the game will be much better and people will be able to play it without knowledge that another glitch could pop up. The reviews will definitely get higher.
CONSTANTLY CRASHES

While I LOVE this game and play it on PC, the mobile version leaves much to be desired. I run it on a brand new 256GB iPhone X, so my device is not the issue. This game crashes every five minutes, which makes playing it nearly impossible. The developer could obviously care less, since they clearly do not update it. If you aren’t going to tend to a game you are actively taking peoples money for, then you should remove it from the App Store. I PAID for this game. I expect a working product. I will be reporting this to Apple.

You should warn viewers of the extreme use of profanity. Every other word is f**k. Horrible game. Initiating a refund. I can’t believe no one else is perturbed by this.

For an iPhone RPG. This game IS GREAT! Actual choices with actual affects on ur story. Honestly it's worth the price great game. Imagine a calmer version of GTA in the sex, drugs and mischief ways. Overall 5/5 I have had 0 problems launching game on iPhone 5 not bad graphics
