Al Jazeera has matured to become the broadest 24-hour online streaming news source for North American viewers. It now surpasses France 24, BBC, CNN, Bloomberg, RT, CBS News, Fox News and Sky News in providing balanced coverage of Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Africa, the Mideast, Europe and the Americas. Congratulations and well done!

No other source but here. Unfortunately all other media outlets are too America biased. At least I know they’re slant. They aren’t bought and paid for by companies. It’s a hell of a lot easier to see a slant here,because of obvious pro Arab views. With American tv I have to sit and watch uncontrollably awful commercials selling “don’t pee on yourself pharmaceuticals”, or corporate journalism. One day we will learn though. Hopefully. That way I can receive American news again. once the news corporations turn back into journalism, I’ll watch them all. But until then I’d rather know the slant and not some companies bottom line. Thanks to podcasts like joe rogan, dribble will turn to adult and we will learn integrity. Hope.

Desperately needs a night mode

The journalism is flawless, but when compared to other, similarly credible sources of news, I find myself edging towards them rather than this app simply because of the blinding light that comes from this app. PLEASE add night mode support of some kind!

Why commercials now

Why would you mess would a great app by adding commercials when u have to watch live news?! That’s so stupid it’s Turing me and lots of people off. People have A.D.D. We lose interest waiting for the commercials to be over with. Remove the 30 second commercials from live news tv or I’m deleting this app. You’re becoming like cnn. Be like yourself or France 24. Get rid of the commercials or give options to skip it. It’s so stupid. Fire the person who came up with that idiotic idea. Take care
