The important step is going to be to isolate the foreground from the background, so that we can blur the background only. After Candle app provide magnetic lasso tool detects and snaps to the edge of an object as you to trace along its outline, it tries to figure out where the edges of an object are by looking for differences in color and brightness values between the object you're trying to select and its background. Has potential, but....

You could create a lot of fun photos and FX with this app, but it has one glaring problem right off. You can't change the opacity of the effect and that makes it virtually impossible to create a subtle ambiance. That's at least a minus 2 star defect in this kind of app. With any lighting effect, subtlety and nuance are key. The other issue I have with this, as with many apps, is that any kind of information about, suggestions, instructions and support is nonexistent. Not that this app is that complicated, but just as a matter of courtesy, common sense and good business, every app should at least provide some basics in these areas. If a developer doesn't care enough about his app to present it well, why should consumers bother to buy it?
