Almost isnt good enough

As a huge link to the past Zelda fan, this game was a huge let down. Characters, even static CPU controlled characters are always walking in place, even your own character. Movement is no where near as polished as zelda with very jittery movement and screen scrolling on iPad 3 at least. Screen shots seemed promising but couldn't get past the bad animation, visual quirks and the anime style music and cut scenes... Just not very Zelda like at all in my opinion.

Game is good, but...

... it tries too hard to be like Zelda, and lacks in a few departments. First of all, too much sexualization. It detracts from the storyline, and is unneeded. Second, there's too much dialogue explaining what's supposed to be going on, and not enough gets left to the discovery of the gamer. Third, the game is too straightforward and linear, unlike the nonlinear storylines that Zelda and the like do so well. I hope any subsequent games fix these shortcomings.

I'm a huge old school RPG fan (Zelda, Legend of Mana, Chrono Trigger, etc.) this game is similar in its look but ends up just being tedious. I put a couple of hours into it before deciding it was just a waste of time. The combat is hackneyed and the game progresses very slowly. Might have been a half decent game twenty years ago but now it's just rather lame.

In no way shape or form does it remind me of Zelda. I played every single Zelda game out there and this is nothing like it. But a good game and a great story that's only why I gave it 3 stars

I love RPG games and have mixed feelings about this game. The characters die way too easily early in the game, making the first boss fight more frustrating than it needs to be. I don't like that the characters don't earn coins or anything to spend in order to upgrade (to better weapons or armor), which feels really limiting. Graphics and game play are old-school, which is fine, but the game is too simplified in its execution and ability to upgrade its characters. Not fun enough to keep me wanting to play it. If you want a better RPG game, try Oceanhorn. It was fun and the graphics are beautiful. This game is Ok, but not great.

When I bought this, I expected it to have five dollars worth of adventure (cheesy as that sounds). I ended up finishing it within a day and wanting my five dollars back. The maze on the ocean was incredibly difficult to solve (I eventually just got lucky) and the moving of blocks in the mine wasn't much fun either. I had no trouble with the controls, though, and the main characters were easy for me to like (the schoolteacher was a bit sketchy, though). I really just wish it was longer without me having to pay an additional five dollars for Across Age 2.

This game is awesome, it makes me feel like I'm playing one of my old school Sega Genesis games, the game play is fantastic and simplistic. It is also fast paced and has a very colorful, happy, and unique appearance. The music is awesome and another reason I feel like I'm back on my old school Genesis, however is there a soundtrack for this game any where? I would totally recommend this game, heck if you are reading this review I want You to download this game it is well WELL worth the $5 :)

I had high hopes but this game seems half finished... * repeated use of the same characters - village of the cloned * must attack people to talk with them, even a nice older lady, to chat you swing a sword at her * everyone's feet keep moving as though they are walking, even while standing in one place * everyone is moving their feet up and down at the same speed, wrinkle in time, camazotz Plus content not fit for children.

Doesn't seem to work with iOS 8

Can't get past the main page. Fun game before the update although controls are hard to use and characters die too easily.

Title screen stretched

Finally got around to buying this and cannot play. The opening sequence is a black screen and then the title screen appears to be stretched to five times the size of the viewable screen. Can only see Help button, please fix. IOS8 on iPad mini.
