Needs updating.

Neat and quirky. Good, but not great.

Wow, some of the reviews are seering, but some people have good points. The controls aren't the most fluid, the graphics aren't totally flawless (somebody complained that it seemed like 15 fps, that's because the character animation is the same whether walking or standing). But I've enjoyed it pretty thoroughly so far. It feels somewhat like Zelda and Chrono Trigger had a lovechild, though this is definitely not as good as either of those titles alone.

Terribly fun
Zorander.Tigress

The "terrible" are the parts when your know your missing something important and usually relatively insignificant during the game, but you cannot progress until you figure it out. Terrible because there are absolutely no maps available online or otherwise for any of the dudgeons. Terrible because you know you've over looked something totally simple but you cannot refer to a walkthrough because there is only one available online and the word "vague" gives it more credit than it deserves. "Fun" because it's so much fun that despite the times you want to pull out your hair because you just want to get on to the next step, you feel a sense of accomplishment you don't get when things are spoon fed. The game is challenging enough that you don't always know exactly what to do next without trial and error, but not so much that it absolutely cannot be figured out.

Pure Garbage

Choppy animations, and "I can't go there...." when you try to move through an open path leading out of town. Only the "programmers" of this piece of filth gave it a good rating. Buy Secret of Mana instead, trust me.

I'm stuck

Can someone please give me a step by step answer on how to get to the cave (the second time warp) at the Ujammi beach after you get the (greatest ship in all the world lol) the raft. if possible with some pictures. I heard something about going to the right side beach but all I'm doing is going in circles and its dring me nuts. so is there anyone who can help me?

Generic plot, terrible controls, okay graphics
Paul Palubinski

What instantly struck me was how terrible the controls are. Movement is choppy. Even though it is 8-direction, it feels like 4. The fighting system is horrible. It's very difficult to not get hit by enemies. The controls are too clunky to allow for any real strategy or dynamic gameplay. Enemies are immovable blocks and if you get cornered, there is little you can do but keep hitting the attack button which seems to get jammed. I just got mauled to death by a cuddly woodland creature in 2 seconds flat because I got sucked into his black hole of immobility.

Just like Zelda!

Awesome job guys! Was one of the most fun games I've ever played on the iPad! Please make a sequel!

Bad setup

The controls make it uncomfortable to use. I knew within the first 60 seconds that I couldn't play this game.

As good as promised

If you love slashing and blasting(magic blast of course) this is a must have. I have been looking for a game that I could really get into and log some hours on. I like the characters and would love to see a sequel.
