Not flexible enough

My daughter loved one of the free tracing applications, so I thought I'd give this one a go since it was half price for the release. Before I gave the app to my little girl to try, I wanted to try it for myself. * The limitations on where the app recognizes lines being traced/drawn is not broad enough. If I, as an adult, have a hard time designating where the line goes (in between the lines), I'm not sure that my 4 year old will have much more luck with it. I'm hesitant to even give this to her now. * The app requires that you draw the lines in a particular direction, which is less natural for a child to develop their own comfort/style It would also be beneficial if the solidity of the outline during the gestures was more solid, and less "chalky". I really hope that some of these issues are addressed in a future release, because the style of the app is good, I'd just like to see it be more viable for use by a toddler.

My grandson loves this app, he is 4 and getting ready for kindergarten. The graphics as he's tracing the letter is what he likes the most. Instant positive response upon correct letter formation is familiar stimulation associated with today's video world he relates to. This app does not feel like the dreaded manuscript exercises yet is sure to have at least equal positive results, ( without the fuss)
