The first App

Ive been using this app for 10 years. It is always the first app ive downloaded on new phones (prior to using itunes backup) It is safe, reliable and gets job done. Not sure why there is not more reviews for this app but lets just say in my Will it will say “see 1 Password for everything”

This app might be useful. I never used it since you need to sign in every 7 days to keep your Key number. I tried to simply cancel my subscription, but you can’t just do that with a click. After paying for it for 3 years because I have time to try to cancel it and eventually get interrupted by kids and work, it’s clear that they want to make that a pain in the rear. Always a red flag when companies make it harder than necessary to cancel their services.
Upgrade destroys functionality and reduces security

I haven’t upgraded 1Password on my Mac, because I wanted to continue syncing via Dropbox, but this update removes that syncing for mobile devices,and there doesn’t seem to be a 1Password Classic app that allows this to keep it. The result: I end up emailing every new username-password combo to myself so I can keep my devices synced, making my data less secure than before 1Password. Please let us downgrade to the previous version , let the app continue to work with the legacy desktop app or make an alternative classic app for those who were happy with the way 1Password used to work.

This is as essential as having a phone. Security isn’t important to people, until it’s too late. 1Password makes it seamless across devices. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Worth the Money (switched from LastPass)

Here are the relevant points: • I was a longtime LastPass user with a family plan. My mother and wife were in it as well. They never liked it and LP aged poorly with higher prices and no increased or smoothed functionality. • After a significant amount of research I settled on a 1P family plan because it is much easier for my wife and mother to use, they receive third-party security audits, and their apps work perfectly across the web, desktop and mobile systems. • The developers are active and involved in the community of users. • The way it integrates the 2FA OTTP feature into the app means my other and wife now use strong 2FA where they didn’t before
