God I miss you US. You were the best app for travel and or trying new places. I miss the spinner so much. Why oh why did you sell out!?

I am an original Urban Spoon user and loved that app. Each upgrade of Zomato has been more disappointing than the last. The emphasis seems to have shifted from finding restaurants to creating social media trends. The location feature is a mess; it pulls from neighboring towns but not a place down the street. If you mistype anything in the name you get zero matches, it has no logic to find a close match. I have grumbled every time I’ve visited a new city and ended up using Apple maps to find local places. Today I’m deleting the app. It just doesn’t work well enough to be useful. Please bring back Urban Spoon.
UrbanSpoon was great. Zomato is a dud.

Just deleted Urbanspoon after years of frequent use. The migration over to Zomato has taken away everything great about Urbanspoon, so it's no longer of any use. You can find a restaurant and read reviews, but you can no longer see at a glance what % of people Like It, or easily review it yourself. Criteria searches are no longer easy. Zomato is just too watered-down. Imagine having all of your favorite music on a playlist, and someone replaces it with one that has only a few of your favorites. Welcome to Zomato! I can't blame Urbanspoon for cashing in, but I think Zomato will regret the purchase. :-/
Missing Urban Spoon...

Like many others have mentioned, Urban Spoon was a great app. Info was accurate, and informative. Zomato is just the opposite. Gives you restaurant choices not close or in some cases not even in the same state. I can’t say enough good of Urban Spoon, nor enough bad about Zomato. Please bring the original Urban Spoon back!!!!!!

Downloading the app just pushes you to Zomato’s main app after they purchased Urbanspoon, and that app doesn’t really do anything that Urbanspoon used to.

I really miss zomato, it was almost flawless. This app is so clunky to use. It is just trying to cram too many features in. If you get past that, it still serves its purpose and has great tech support.

Don't download! This is not an app. After downloading it simply tells you to download zoomato, another app. Wasted 30+ mb of data. :-/
