You will face tactical challenges with missions of varying size and objectives, and 34 different combat units. As with previous strategy games from HexWar, every effort has been made to capture the look and feel of the warfare methods, equipment and uniform of the day, and this title is no exception. In these battles players will also find the detailed and accurate maps, orders of battle, and named regiments from the well-loved Decision Games board game.
The hex-based game system features a large variety of infantry, cavalry, artillery, generals and terrain types. Use your combined forces to outmanoeuvre, outwit or outshoot your opponent. Victory awaits you, Commander!

It’s a good game. Love playing this type of game. This Game won’t let me change formations. Get that fixed and it will be a great game.
Fun game but.....

I truly enjoy the Hunted Cow/Decision Games and recommend you try them. Be warned thought that in this game in standard and hard AI the Americans can't hit the broadside of a barn and the Brits, Indians & Canadians are sharpshooters and rarely miss. Otherwise it's a fun but occasionally aggravating game.

Great game, great graphics, great play. The Americans CAN hit the broadside of a barn... Just need to have the infantry in the proper formation: in-line for reg inf and open-order for light inf. Firing while in column formation yields the least results!

Thank you I love War of 1812 and American Revolution games and Tank battle North Africa now you have another War of 1812! This looks great! What would make me even happier is a French and Indian war game
