Broadcast Screen with iOS 11+

Will try it again and reassess its usefulness once I have iOS 11 installed on my iPad. Until then, the app is nothing new and has limited functionality and usefulness.

iOS screen sharing

As a fan of Gordon

The new iOS screen sharing idea is good but the things should be faster as fast like am doing in my phone...when I am doing things in my phone and watching on my laptop it is not smooth...I expect you make it smooth

Everyone that’s complaining that TV QS only does screen snapshots needs to understand that it’s an Apple limitation, not TeamViewer! Blasting TV with low reviews stars is unfair and only demonstrates the reviewer’s ignorance. ios11 finally allows live, real-time screen sharing. ios11 still does not allow interaction, but at least you can see what the other end is doing and guide them with what to do. That for me is already priceless. Yes, the perfection would be interaction, but this is a huge improvement! I love TV and I’ve been a paying user for years.

Where's the screen sharing?

Dyneas bo

I updated to iOS 11 but the app only gives options for chat and screen shot which is pretty useless. There is no screen sharing option.

This is awesome

I really like that you can interact and support friends in need. It’s a handy tool to have. Will definitely use it a lot!

Supports IOS 9.0?

Is that why it said I need to update to IOS 11?

Love. Team. Viewer.

I've been using it for years on windows to help aunty and mom from a distance. It has been consistently useful and easy to use. Now, the capability for iOS make it even more useful. Thanks Team Viewer!

Doesn't work

*** Update: 10.14.2018 *** I am using iOS 11.0.3 on both devices ... iPhone 7 and iPad Pro. Is this QuickSupport app, along with the TV full app supposed to allow two iOS devices or an iOS device and a computer using the full TeamViewer program to interact like when two laptops connect via TV program ? If so, it doesn’t, unless the instructions are incorrect or information is missing. I can access a remote iPhone from an iPad (or vice versa) but cannot take over the other device. I can only view its screen. If you press the keyboard icon in the lower right corner of the device you are trying to take over, a message is displayed stating,” remote side does not support remote input”. In other words, I can only view the remote screen, not interact with it or its icons. *** Update: 10.09.2017 *** I have updated my iPhone7 and iPad Pro to iOS 11.0.2. The app still doesn’t work. Once connected, I can see the screen of my iPhone 7 on my iPads screen. If I make changes on the iPhone, I can see the changes taking place on the iPad’s screen. I am unable to connect the other way around, where I can see changes made on the iPad on the iPhone’s screen !!! I get an error message saying that Safari doesn’t allow it. Also, when I am connected, so that I see the iPhone’s screen on the iPad, I cannot control the iPhone (its apps) from the iPad. Touching the keyboard icon in TeamViewer’s lower right corner says that it doesn’t allow remote control. What I want to do is take over another family member’s iPad using my iPhone or iPad and make changes to settings on their iPad to correct problems they are experiencing. From what I have experienced trying to do this between my iPhone and iPad, I will not be able to accomplish what I want to do. It appears that this version of TeamViewer isn’t working like the regular program, where I can remotely take over and control one device from another. Or...am I missing something ?

Useless

Absolutely useless

Functional screen sharing between iOS devices!

spence.p

Screen sharing works well, even though it’s limited to viewing with no direct interaction. This is a HUGE upgrade from previous versions of the app! Finally, a reliable way to remotely see what my clients are doing on their screens! Too bad that iOS requires such a convoluted and complicated procedure to make it happen - I’m worried that my oldest iOS users won’t be able to initiate a support session without already sharing their screen with me!
