Truly Remarkable

ONEentity

It's impressive what can be accomplished with this app that's under 11 MB. Compare that to other simple apps on your phone/tablet that are 50 MB or more. While this software is probably optimized for the desktop, it functions smoothly on my iPhone 6. It can feel a bit cramped at times but I know that's because of the device I'm using. Even so, it's simple to move around, link modules, etc. Well done, Dev! This tool that you created is truly remarkable and your attention to detail is greatly appreciated.

One of the best

Sunvox is a excellent all workstation synth well worth the effort to learn it.

Love it

Long words

The new stuff is awesome.

Love this app!

The more time I spend with this program and get to know it the more I fall in love with it. There is a bit of a learning curve if you have never used a tracker like interface for sequencing, but once learned you can get a really fast workflow. Faster than a traditional DAW and with a precision and complexity you never thought possible. Cross platform!!! I have it on my IPhone, PC and Raspberry PI!

This app is vast, sounds great, and hates you

jzipps

I get why gearheads and synth wonks love this. The features and potential of Sunvox are stunning, in theory. But the UX is so obnoxiously unfriendly that using it is a drag, even for experienced softsynth players. Some useful and coherent documentation would be a good start.

So far, so ...

A full featured tracker-based DAW in your pocket!

Gldnspud

If you're new to trackers, they're like step sequencers in spreadsheet form. Give it a try! If you're an experienced tracker, this tool will be your new best friend. So many great features, and the UI has been designed for both small and large screens.

My Only Regret...

Wrave

...is not buying SunVox sooner!

Outstanding

This app has been around for a very very long time since Palm Pilot days. The author is very talented and is still supporting this app and adding features after all these years. It is deceptively powerful and you can achieve a wide variety of sounds with all the synth, sampler, and effect modules, especially when combining them with the metamodule. The greatest feature is that this program will seemingly run on anything from supercomputers to potatoes. This is the only program I have where I can take a project from my phone, to my tablet, to my main rig, to an old netbook and the experience will transfer seamlessly. There will be a learning curve if you've never used a tracker before, but it's well worth learning.
