Tools are unusable!

The latest update made tools unusable. After the amount of time it took for this to get updated to iOS 11 and now the tool glitch I am very disappointed in this costly app.

The game keeps crashing and I can’t get through a game. Could use a little help here.

Crashes every couple of minutes. Other bugs, such as not counting tool bonus. Once these are cleared up, will earn much higher ratings. The main issue is that is shuts down during the second round of play and will not allow you to finish your game. If this issue were fixed, the rating would be much higher. As it is now, no one should buy this game, as it is unplayable in ios11.

The screen on the iPhone X cuts out part of the game, so you can’t see how many resources you have. It also only plays up to three players, even though it offers four slots. Fun game, just needs bugs fixed up.

Cannot complete tutorial

PSA: avoid the iPad version of Stone Age. Bought it last night ($6.99) to play on my 9.7-inch iPad Air, because I’ve never played the game and wanted to try it, to decide if I’m interested enough to buy a physical copy. I wasn’t able to play past the first Retrieve Workers phase of the tutorial. The tutorial says to tap on the hammer icon to modify a die roll, but there’s no hammer to tap on anywhere. Cannot proceed. Tried to send a message to the developer, Campfire Creations, but their web site link is dead, their Twitter account’s last update was in 2015, and their Facebook page has over a dozen similar messages that have received no apparent response. The tutorial seems to work on my iPhone 7 Plus, but who wants to play a board game on a phone?

Seems cool, but crashes a lot

Crashes (closes) about every turn. After third restart, you can get another round until it crashes again. This is on my iPad. Then tried it on my iPhone, 4 player...the 3 AI play and I never get a turn. It’s like I’m watching their 3 player game...will be getting my money back.

Wish I could play this game...used to love it. Now, constant crashing and some aspects don’t even work. I’ve reinstalled several times to no avail.

This game keeps crashing on my iPad. You guys need to fix the iPad version. Oh and look now tools don’t work either. When I go to get resources I can’t add tools to my dice how nice.

What have they done! Stone Age used to be my favorite relaxing time killer, now it’s a frustrating mess. First, it wouldn’t play on iOS 11 for many months because they wouldn’t update it. Second, now they’ve updated it, but it won’t play more than 30 seconds without crashing my iPad. It’s a hot mess and I would avoid it unless and until they correct these problems. That’s a shame, it was a great game.

iPad Pro 12.9 bugs

Glad this game now works with iOS 11, but there are issues in my iPad Pro 12.9. The sides of the game are cut off, so for example with the boats you can’t see what’s on all of them without clicking them. Also during the scoring, text is overlaid so you can’t always read it and again the sides are cut off. Seems like this was upscaled from the iPhone version which has a different screen ratio than the iPad.
