Great app!

I love this app! It's great to have a list of the must-see events for the week, and the sky maps are really cool. (It's not stuck on the Denver location for me, as previous commenters have said, that must have been fixed.)

Just what I always wanted!

The Lady Dragonfly

I have had my iPod Touch 5 a whopping 3 days and I've been trying out free apps. This is a lovely, interactive sky map! I have always wanted something this easy to use to learn more constellations. I located my old winter sky "friends" and found it is Jupiter I am seeing north of Aldebaran. I look forward to learning more in the future. It is true, it only works in portrait and while it would be nice if it worked in landscape, none of the other apps I have tried for stargazing are quite this nice and easy to use. It will tell you what in interesting for the week and when you can see it best from you exact location. Excellent!

Don't waste your time

This app is pretty worthless, all you get is a text description of the current week's sky. No sky charts, no constellation maps, nothing. Their description greatly exaggerates what it does. Just uninstalled it.

This app is excellent and easy to use. The person who rated this lowly has not explored all the access to Sky and Telescope mag, as well as the excellent day to day star charts and videos. And it's free!

Complaining?

I can't believe people are complaining about this FREE app. It does exactly what it says it will, allows you to find out what's up for the week without buying the magazine and it's FREE! Take the less than two minutes to install this app if you have even the slightest interest in astronomy.

Lists me in wrong city.

Mine has me in the wrong city, 2 time zones away subsequently showing wrong viewing info. It worked before the last update. Won't even allow me to manually set my location. Love the app but please fix. ??

I want a talking

I want to go outdoors and look at the sky and listen to the sky information. It is too hard to try to read and look,at the sky at the same time. I like to touch things on the iPad and hear about what I touch. I want to be able to dim the screen to different star magnitude so it will only show the stars that I can see at the time.

Using notifications to send advertising is an Epic Fail

I've noticed that notifications from the app have started advertising for other products. Ads in an app is one thing, but sending notifications and alert badges for advertising is dead wrong. Uninstalled
