Apparently you still need to buy a L$500 server URL which they don't explain how to get. Lots of comments on app not working.

This app is garbage and doesn't do anything other than tell you who's online unless you buy a server from them. You can just go to the second life website to see what friends are online and save a dollar.

Awful app with no real direction. Leads you to believe you can chat mobily with friends, yet after spending $1 it tells you spend $500L to buy a server from them in order to chat with friends from a mobile device. Just sad. Misleading, not very user friendly - not work the dollar spent. Ugh.

This app is useless unless you buy the in-world server for L$500. The App Store description says "optional", but this app is useless unless you purchase the in world server. Complete waste of money

You need to purchase a server in game, which costs about $3 on top of the dollar you pay to buy the app. You'd think it would have more of a function, rather than only being able to message people really close to the item you set up in game. It doesn't even tell you who says what. Really not worth the money at all, but it works, I guess.
99% close to being useless, but I guess it has some functions

Okay I'll start it with this, first to get the app you need 99cents after you need to spend in game money (which for some derives from real life money) keep in mind that to even be able to spend the in game money for the SURL you need to be on your OWN land. And even if you meet all the requirements You can only message people that are near your land. I don't normally write reviews, but I just would like to save other people's time and money. (Yes I know it's just a dollar, but it's still money being wasted basically) Remember even having change in your pocket makes you richer than a lot of people around the world.
