It's a blast blasting bugs down! Still cannot get past the Beatle boss. But am looking forward to unlocking the other insects for more fire power!

Awesome game! I don't often play shooting games, but this one stands out in many ways. I’m a gamer who skips tutorials 99% of the time, and this game’s tutorial is among the 1% that I actually read and listened to. The tutorial is not only very well-executed, but also entertaining (squish!) - it’s got great replay value. In the game, you can unlock insects by squishing rival bugs, each of whom have their own stats and specials. The starting insect is both powerful enough to let beginners like me survive for a good amount of time and easy to use. Seeing how difficult it is for me to beat members of my own species, which I assume is mid-tier in terms of stats, I'm really curious to see how powerful the last two insects will be! Another aspect of the game that I especially like is the freedom it gives - you're free to use whatever survival tactics you like, whether it be sniping enemies from behind rocks and bushes, shooting from the corner of the shoebox or straight-up ramming yourself into your opponents. It gives a nice sense of realism and really puts me into the lens of the insects who are trying to forage and survive. Also, the art and animation is gorgeous! I could stare at the title screen for a long time… Overall, great game, definitely 5/5!
