Clunky, outdated, and generally just a terrible app. Embarrassing that it's 2017 and Scottrade still has an app that looks like it was made in 2000.

Literally feels like it was designed for a palm trio back in 2007, which I'm sure at the time was impressive, but seriously ST bring yourselves into the present.

Having been a Scottrade customer for several years, I find the app covers all of my daily needs just fine. The website covers the rest. The banking features are better than many others’, and the trading works just fine with all of the important stuff intact. Not sure what certain other reviewers are talking about. It does have TouchID, fast real-time feedback, depositing checks using the camera, and you can change the default view to one of your preference. True, the website offers better technicals and customer service, but I don’t need those thing 90% of the time. The occasional times when I do, I just log in using that instead. (Boy, how great it is that my iOS devices include Safari!) Furthermore, as for any serious technical analysis, I already have a plethora of other non-brokerage apps that provide plenty of that. I give 4 stars only because the interface could be slightly cleaner, and I’d really like it to facilitate some basic messaging for customer service. Otherwise, this app is a-ok!
