Python 3.3 for iOS is paid iOS app published by Jonathan Hosmer

I bought this app to practice while learning from an OCW MIT iTunes U course. The command prompt appears to work. The default color settings are hard on the eyes but at least the app has parameters to change color scheme. The script editor seems to be broken. The app shuts down after pressing the second keyboard key. This happens on both iPhone 4S and the iPad. Both are running iOS 6.0. UPDATE: I figured out why it crashes, editor syntax highlighting! If I turn it off I can type more than one character. Then turn off editor auto indent so you can use return key without shutting down app.

Batch mode quits app after typing a single letter on iPad and 4s

Script mode doesn't work. It crashes after typing in one single letter. Bought and immediately went into script mode only to want a refund already.

This app was great while it was working. However that no longer seems to be the case. Please fix this problem. Ios 6 on ipod touch 4g

I downloaded this app in hopes of practicing programming, but it's proven to be more frustrating than helpful. There are frequent crashes and little instruction on how to work with the shell. Often can't get programs to run.

I haven't used it much, and I'm not sure about the productivity when the IOS limits the filesystem access of each app and whatnot, but it isn't crashing! (yet!)

It takes a lot to get me to write in all caps. Believe me, I am normally a calm, level-headed internet denizen, but I feel obliged to let everyone know that: THIS APP CRASHES ON STARTUP. SUPPORT REQUEST IN DEVELOPER FORUM IS STILL UNANSWERED AFTER TWO WEEKS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THIS APP DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. That said, there is a good alternative out there, which I won't mention here in the interest of not appearing biased.

It would be nice if the app can allow to save scripts directly to the cloud.
