Depressingly accurate

Only tried it a few times so far but I went in knowing my overall mood and tried to hide it while speaking. It picked up accurately. Than I tried again with a regular tone and it was kinda spot on. I will continue to use and monitor my mood with this until I feel it's inaccurate.

Accurate but crashes

Hi, I downloaded and tried moodies once yesterday. It was surprisingly accurate. Today I tried to use it several times but it keeps crashing. When I press the mic button it doesn't start recording. On a third press, it crashes. Any suggestions? Thx. Also: Navigation is not friendly, ie from a screen where I view the previous report, there's no option that I see that would take me to create a new recording. This seems so basic compared to the AI tech you're using... Very surprising that it's not working. When I went on your website to see if there was a chat, it said contact us anytime. We'll be happy to chat over coffee. I submitted my question and was greeted with error 404 page not found. Lol

I just downloaded this because I was curious about its accuracy. I'm a licensed therapist so was skeptical. I was very surprised that the analysis from speaking about 30 seconds, something very neutral, was so accurate!!! It analyzed three levels of mood and all were right on the money including the mood behind my cheerful words. To say the least, I am impressed.

Didn't happen, and it's very hard to talk naturally to yourself for 2 minutes, still no read. Great app on theory.

I read about this app from an email. Thought it would be cool to check it out but it will not work. Others may have more luck, I just deleted it from my phone.

I downloaded the app and have tried speaking to it many times. Occasionally it has been somewhat close to the moods I was in, but usually is so completely off-base that I wonder if it even listens to my voice? I was just now cuddling with my dog and recording myself telling her how much I love her what a good girl she is talking in that stupid baby voice we use sometimes with babies and animals. The result were that I was “Disliking. Difficulty accepting an opinion to accept authority. Struggling with distress.” There are few things in this world that make me happier than my dog, and she is the last thing that would cause me disstress. This is just one example of how completely this app is off. I’ve also tried using my regular voice, and upbeat happy voice, a mellow voice, and overly sweet goo goo ga ga tone, and it always registers my voice as Somber. So I try talking in a fake high-pitched voice and then it decided I was a little bit more embracive. I would not put any stock into what results come up if you choose to use this device.

The software itself is simple and interesting. I wonder how accurate it is and how easy it is to fool. Do you get a better or different result if the person knows they are being analyzed? There is no measure of confidence. Also, be sure to read the EULA you agree to. They allow themselves pretty broad rights to any audio sample you submit. That's not a reason to not use the app, but it may be a reason to be cautious about what you submit.
