Unhappy Picture-Taker

As others have said, the old app wasn't perfect, but this one is even worse. It kicks you out all the time! I hate that you can't log into more than one mobile device at a time. I use my phone to take pictures....then I come in and later get on my iPad to look something up and lose any pictures that were still loading from my phone! This has happened SEVERAL times! I try to be conscious of it, but loading is slow! The camera in the app is frustrating because the actual picture taken is larger than your viewable window, so they're always off-center. You can try to compensate for that, but you have to take several to get one that works! If you're on Wifi when you take pictures, they start loading before you can get them put in the right order and before you can delete the ones you don't want to keep. If you wait, you may get too many pics pending and lose them...had this problem, too! I finally just started taking pics with the camera on my phone. You can pull them from your camera library and load them into your app...ONE at a time....no option to select multiple pics at once! I finally decided to just take pics with the camera, load them on the computer, and add them that way....the way you had to do it in the OLD days...very disappointing, when it should be so easy! (I am using an old iPhone 4 on wifi solely for taking pictures at the dealership, since I am always plugging in and unplugging my phone for charging....rather than ruining the battery on my newer personal iPhone.) Also, when searching for a vehicle in the app, wouldn't it make sense to have the stock # and retail price on the page where it lists all the models? If I have 20 Cruzes and I am looking for a particular stock number or one in a certain price range, it's very time consuming to have to click into each one to find it! I do like that you can now make a vehicle "active" or "in progress" from mobile. I don't like that you can't WRITE your OWN description from mobile, you can only choose options or pre-written phrases. It would be nice to be able to type in what you want (or speak it into the microphone to translate to text) while you're right there with the vehicle. As far as appraising, I can't speak on those issues, but I know all my managers have been complaining a lot about the new app. Hopefully, someone reads these reviews that can make some much-needed adjustments! It's a shame, this tool could be so handy.

IF IT AINT BROKEN.. DON'T FIX IT!! This is what happens when non car people try to improve upon things that they do not have to use themselves to feed their family. Horrible

Fire the morons who did this update. vin scan camera did not even lineup to the vin barcode on cars. Values it looks completely screwed up.

I have left a few reviews about this app in the past but never has it given me trouble like it has now. I can't look up any of the cars in my inventory, I've deleted and installed he app multiple times, and nothing gets fixed. It's honestly hindering me from doing my job. I wish I could rate it 0 stars. Horrible app.

I have use this app for over 5 years, an I'm about to cry with this update, a friend updated months ago and warn me to not updated, well I update to a newer iPhone and guess what? I had no choice but to download the upgraded version and the operation was a total fail !!! So I won't recommend this app to no one, I'm looking for a better app, any suggestions?

Prior to the upgrade, I would have given this application and eight out of 10 stars. The current version of the software is absolutely horrible. Dealer track took whatever functionality was in the application and completely wiped it off the board. I wish there was a way to downgrade to the old version and I would do it in a heartbeat. This app is 100 steps backwards in the progression of dealer track's forward thinking. I wish there was another application I could use to view and edit my inventory and I would switch yesterday. I hope they fix this problem swiftly. Dealer track I beg you to read my review as well as the many unsatisfied customers you have created alongside of me.

If I weren't required to use this app at my dealership, I would never touch it. It's slow, it freezes constantly & the information available without picking a particular vehicle to "open" it up is useless.

Old app was so easy to use and opened instantly. If I get logged out one more time from this new update I'm going to scream!! I am trying to run a business and don't have time to stop and re log in every stinking time!!! Grrr

This is the worst app ever please change back to old version asap im sick of being logged off while appraising the information is inconsistent and slow the scanner picks up nothing most the time your having to chase it around the vin in the end your manually put the vin in when its bad weather it's a challenge
