Its understandable if gems is difficult to come by, but gold and excessive cards thta you cant even trade in or sell for gold isn’t worth it. This could turn out to be an awesome game if only the the cards that are in reality sooooo unnecessary be traded off for gold. Time to rethink your strategy guys if you want your players to stay

I love tower defense games and this is one of the best I've ever played. The levels are challenging without being impossible. I haven't needed to pay to beat any of the levels, but I've bought a couple limited time offers for the alternate hero powers and to support the developers. The game is beautiful as well! Try it out and I don't think you'll be disappointed! New content keeps being added consistently - I started playing when there were 40-50 levels and there are now almost 200. Keeping up can be a challenge! The developers are amazingly responsive as well. There are some bumps along the way since they are always adding new content, but I haven't seen any issue that they have not addressed or fixed. Check out the Reddit page if you have any questions! Great but terrible now

Was a great game until recently. The latest update made it impossible to win without paying lots of $$$$. If you are thinking about downloading look at the recent reviews. The App Store rating would 1-2 stars based of last few months of reviews. Won’t be playing until they dial down the difficulty.
Requires too much purchasing and too difficult

The game could be good, but you must spend money to be able to continue playing and winning, and I hate to see developers put out another game that’s primarily about money. It’s not like Kingdom Rush where choosing to spend money is an icing-on-the-cake type of thing. Here, you must spend money to be any good and have an enjoyable experience. And the levels are very difficult, much more difficult than the towers are capable of handling, even after you spend money. I never feel like my towers are ready to move forward, even after upgrading them. I usually just end up replaying old levels b/c I don’t want to see the game get more difficult. Also, it is SUPER annoying that this game has to download something every time you open it, and you have to wait for it to download. (It’s probably downloading another in-app purchase.)
No gold anymore ??!!

Knight chest doesn’t have gold anymore? The only way to gain extra gold is to unlock knight chest and I have gone 3 chest in a row with no gold. What the heck

[EDIT] Ugh, I hate the new hero select feature. It slows down the use of hero powers, which I find more important (never had an issue selecting heroes before). It also does not allow you to select a tower until you move or tap the hero to deselect them. It stops you from being able to quickly select and upgrade or repair a tower when it's about to die. This is a really terrible feature that clogs up the rest of the game mechanics. Please get rid of this and I'll put my rating back up to 5 stars.

I would have it at 5 stars but the new double tap hero update is awful. Swing and a big miss.
