I've wanted to get more into 'quantified self' techniques, but have always been too lazy/forgetful to really do anything long enough for it to become a habit. Bean is simple and fun so I finally have something that works for me. Baby steps y'all.

I am relatively thrilled at how cute and simple this application is. The app does exactly what it is supposed to, however, I have some suggestions: 1) Add multiple pages like on the iPhone home screen for many beans. Each page can be spanned through. 2) Manual record keeping is excellent, but also allow an option for each bean to auto count down or count up. An example would be it can count towards a date or to keep track of how long it has been since a date occurred or how long an individual has been, say, stranded in the woods but left with their iPhone or solar power electricity generator device. 3) Allow a user to input preset dates for when beans were created rather the day of.

#1 Be able to change the "Since Date" #2 Make text size adjustable to available space - to include more text if needed! - allow large and small text within same counter!! #3 Include (Optional) "Last updated" per counter! #4 Pictures ? ( a picture is worth a 1,000 words) These are ????? changes!!! Hope it will be possible. Thanks ,

The app is great so far even though I've played around with it for only 10 minutes. No regretting downloading this app! :D A lot of uses, and the design is nice and simplistic. It'll be one of the best dollars you've ever spent.
Can't Change Date

Thought this app had potential to be useful, but I'd like the ability to set the date to a past date if the counting began before today. Right now, there doesn't seem to be the option for that. Please add!

The app is great for numbers But there are other things that need to be recorded and it does not let you make notes or change the "since date".

At first, I was a little disappointed. There were only nine counters, very few optional functions, no daily counters or something that I imagine. Then, I took a quick look to other counters in AppStore and I said 'bean was almost perfect' However, It needs a lot improvement. Flashing should be optional and vibration is a need. Tip for users, if you're not counting multiple items at the same time, using guided access without zooming, cause less battery consumption.
