I tried to make a profile and was not approved for days. I had a friend make a profile (IMO he's very attractive) and was approved within a minute of finishing the basic questions. The people who run this aren't looking for community members, they're looking for hot guys. It's a grindr for the admins. Sorry but this is not the kind of community I want to be a part of.

When I heard of this app, I thought it was such a great idea. A place to meet other gay/bi geeks like myself. I work in the tech field, a big gamer, love Sci-Fi and collect action figures. One would think I fit right in. But according to the app/site owner I'm "not the right fit". So go figure. It's sad when a LGBT establishment decides to be exclusive rather than inclusive.
Breath of fresh app air.

This is the first "social" app that I've used where conversation and intellect are just as (if not more) valued as looks and hook-ups are in other apps. I'm still new, but I'm loving it so far.

I'm not sure who designated these people to be the be-all end-all of gay geeks/nerds. At least other less sincere apps allow everyone to participate.

Enjoyably easy to use. The people are friendly and intelligent. Unlike the vast multitudes that are typically found on other apps.

After being let down by other dating sites and their mobile app versions Flirtive was a blessing in disguise. I loved that it was a word of mouth app that was recommended by friends. The sense of humor of the instructions is spot-on to my personality, and after years of trying gross hookup apps this one is a breath of fresh air.
Poor management or biased criteria

I created a profile and waited 5 days for a response as to whether it got approved or not. Nothing happened. Can't figure out if it's poor management by the creators of this app or even worse a biased set of criteria. Either way unacceptable. I recommend invest your time on another social app.

Never been part of an app where you have to qualify and get accepted to be a part of. Really cool! Awesome being part of a gay community app where it's not all just about finding dick ???
