This app auto adds email addresses that come from anywhere, eg, spam or the complete list of a forwarded email. There is no way to delete these and have a normal address book such as what I have when accessing my email on aol.com. Nothing changes and there is no response from the “support” area of aol.

Guys, we used to be able to see the email address of the person sending us the emails. Now, that’s gone. How do I know if the email address is legitimate if I can’t see the address?

An aol rep told me to login to aol on my pc and log out of this app…this is not a solution to app defects. Then why have this app here?! Do not use this app. This app still creates contacts automatically from all mail including spam, all on its own. I have repeatedly reported this to aol but no one cares. A rep told me to use the login on my PC as a solution, instead of fixing this app. They did a bug fix but it only removed my own contacts, and it is STILL creating contacts from any and all mail, and hackers add themselves as contacts. AOL does not bother to block spam and spam goes into my inbox daily. Also, I get notifications from spam mail with subject included! They should delete this app and create a new one with better security. I mean we PAY for this email, make it better than other emails!

Where are my contacts and my calendar on this app? I would like to add themes, make changes to them, and also be able to delete them too. This app is nothing like the website version. Very poor application to use and I don't recommend it to use and you shouldn't pay for the ad-free version of it too!

There is no way to stop terribly offensive spam. Spammers even get added automatically to my contact list! Please, you need to make control of spam a top priority to improve this app. AOL’s spam control article is out of date and doesn’t work.

Ever since I installed this “new” AOL app I have not been able to send photos by regular e-mail. Rather I must sent all my photos by text !! I do not understand why this has happened and I certainly don’t know how to correct this issue!

I want my aol email to work with my iPhone email without the giant delay. I do not need your heavyweight and biased app to see my email. I have begrudgingly installed it until I can move my 25+ years (no kidding) of email away from your trash apps. I’d rate this -5 if I could.
