Still a casino/21 and over with all the pretty lights

I deleted all of my “classic” Angry Birds games some time ago because of the freemium/free-to-play infection plaguing the franchise. However I recently saw Angry Birds Classic and decided to give that a try. I played only a few intro levels and don’t know how the experience will evolve though I must say I love the new (old, really) clean interface. No videos. No ads. No power up icons. No slot machines. No neon lights and glitter. Just Angry Birds as I discovered it in 2009. So far at least. We’ll see. This is not the case with Rio, so I deleted it, again, and with sadness because my children loved that game and enjoyed it during the hype surrounding the movies. Good times lost. My hope is that I’ll see classic versions for all of the old games free of the exploitative garbage/psychologically frustrating elements/artificial limits so that my kids and I can get back to enjoying these games as they were originally intended. After all, I did pay for the games way back when. Update: spoke too soon. I was playing the Angry Birds Classic tutorial. The episodes contain all the free-to-play elements including a shopping cart that these companies love. Promptly deleted.

Broken - stay away
How did this happen?
Bad to worse. Latest update “fixed” minor issues but left major ones. Crashes during play (with loss of upgrades). After starting league, crashes and won’t allow continuing games within league. Kinda fun, when it is working, but that’s getting rarer and rarer.

The game keeps crashing. I have lost to many lives and extras that I paid for. Love the game, however, I’m deleting it.

Love this game. But... too many ads!! Would also be nice if you didn't have to wait hours in between levels on the "Treasure Hunt" section. But the game itself is great!!

Over the ads!!!! Now when you wait for the ad to finish and click X the screen goes blank and have to exit out and go back in. I paid for this app and am tired of these ads!!!!!!!

You know, it would be nice to have the original Angry Birds Rio Samba Theme song & Title Screen back. They can be used whenever the player enters & exits Rio 1 levels. Whenever a player enters & exits Rio 2 levels or the Playground Levels, the updated Title Screen & Theme music are changed back. If you can update more new levels featuring Blu & Jewel, and possibly their kids: Carla, Bia, and Tiago, that will be FANTASTIC!! :D
