You would think being the world’s richest retail company would afford you the resources to make a good mobile app, but no. This app is terrible. It often shows the wrong thumbnails for photos, lags at every tap, crashes all the time, and offers poor performance pretty much on every offered feature. Get your act together Amazon, this app just make you look lazy.

So far so good.

It is ok but buggy. The app shuts down often and if new files have been posted to the cloud you don’t see them until you sign out and then back in.

Needs a scan function

The one drive has a scan function that lets you create pdf and upload right into your drive, I did not notice this function on the amazon drive

Folders take 11 seconds to open.

This app is poorly optimized. Each folder takes around 11 seconds to open. Ironically opening a folder takes more time than downloading all its contents! Please fix!

GOOD BUT ANNOYINGLY BUGGY

When searching for files clicking on the image and hitting delete forces the app to close plus I wish we could select all for deleting/downloading in a search. Also some of the images WILL NOT LOAD I check on the prime photos app but I don’t use it because the file system is out of order instead of showing new images first u only get to sort by year which is dumb. The plus for me is unlimited photo storage through prime!

Incredibly slow and buggy

How did this even pass the app review? It fails on login, then takes a minute or so to log in, then hangs trying to open the Manage Storage menu... And all this for an account that has no uploaded files.

I reviewed and researched which cloud storage system to join. Being a long-time Amazon member meant i had to at least try Amazon drive. I’m enjoying it so far. I have seen some files that are stored turn up in the wrong place, but haven’t figured out yet if that’s me or the product. Overall, very pleased with my experience.

Has a bug and I’m out of raid!

Works great for viewing documents, app closes when open with is pressed. I store documents (.doc ) on the drive, when I press send to the app closes. This happens 80-90% of the time . Worked great until an update broke it. Hey amazon, could u please fix this bug? Hard to print a recipe when I can’t sent it to the printer.

I’m surprised and stunned by this app. It repeatedly crashes while trying to Select photos or videos to upload for storage. The whole purpose of this is for cloud storage. It repeatedly crashes when I try to upload to the cloud. So it seems to fail at its primary mission. I’m extra peeved because I paid for the 100GB upgrade to my amazon account. Honestly, I’d give it a negative number of stars if that were possible.
