This is by far my favorite iPad, iPhone game. With my iPad game count at around sixty now this is my favorite out of them all (yes it even beats out those $15 3d racing games that get all the attention) and they did an awsome job with the new HD version for the iPad. For the fans out there it's still the same Alpine crawler world your used to just bigger and better on the iPad screen oh and a new vehicle to boot. I hated stopping to write this review but it was a must on a much anticipated iPad game. Like I said before this is the same style game your used to but unlike other games that originated on the iPhone they didn't just poorly upscale the graphics, you can tell this was made for the iPad. If you like this game on the iPhone no need to read more hit the buy app button, it's well worth the price. No matter how many times I race a course it's never the same and for such a simple game it is very challenging. Looks great and plays great. Have fun!! I have some times to beat!! The only thing that could make this game better is if the developers release some add on's in the future, such as new courses or locations, or even some new style cars, but none the less it still rocks.

I'm not an off-roader type...but his is just really...REALLY fun! Great physics, sound effects, and crashes/near-crashes. Easy to enjoy with easy controls. Whether you're particularly good or not is not important. Whether you succeed or crash, this is an absolute blast. Highly recommended!

I've been a player of the challenging game Alpine Crawler I saw this game in the game and decided to give it a try and WOW. I have been a video game nerd my whole life.I seek the best quality in every game I play and with this game being on the ipad I gave it a shot, nice work Demesion Technics keep It up and will always be a costumer.:)

Very frustrating game that is next to impossible to actually complete "challenges". Glad I didn't pay full price for this. Downgrading to 1 star. Vehicle constantly gets completely stuck. Game sometimes does not realize vehicle is upside down and you just sit there and have to let clock run down. I have tried about 10 times now across all three challenges and they are not possible. Maybe with 20 lives - but I doubt it. I have gotten more angry with this game than had fun.

Expect this game to be a greatly expanded version of the free variation. Good variety of vehicles and trails. Surprised there's no dirt bike option yet. Forward/reverse buttons in awkward place. Only needs 1 button that toggles back and forth, preferably on the left side so you never have to take finger off gas and look down and thus, away from the action. If you have to look for the buttons and they are out of thumbs' reach, it's not a good Interface. Sometimes vehicle gets stuck upside-down, like other reviewers said. Also, some vehicles seem to flip over and do somersaults a bit too much. Overall, fun side scrolling game.

The gas button doesn't work, for God's sake! I downloaded it, hit challenge, read through the instructions and pressed the gas pedal, only to find that it didn't work!

Fun concept and nice graphics but its too hard. I've owned it for a few weeks and haven't been able to complete a single challenge and unlock anything. I frequently find myself on the 8th round of a challenge burning through lives because the course is just stupidly difficult. It is so frustrating to always get to the same point very challenge and lose that I just intentionally crash to get out of it and end the misery. If you like frustration and never being able to unlock new things, by all means buy this game.
